Every Wednesday we celebrate the wines of Valtenesi with the Sunset wine tour, with tasting of 3 Valtenesi wines.

A beautiful tour on the hills of Lake Garda in Valtenesi, in the graceful context of a farm in the Puegnago del Garda area, Conti Thun.

The tour

The Sunset wine tour includes the walking visit among the rows, as the sun starts going down, the hills and the panorama gift with special colors. The visit can be done on a golf car, for those who prefer it.

After the walk in the vineyards, the visit continues to the cellar, with the presentation of the company and the wine making area. Here you will witness an explanation of the whole process, from the grape harvest, the separation of the must, the fermentation of the grapes, and the aging. You will discover the wine making procedure, which boasts a millenary tradition.
This is a really interesting experience, as well as pleasing to the taste and the view. Furthermore, Valtenesi wines have long own history and origin. The Chiaretto Valtenesi especially recalls delicate and graceful aromas with its pink color and and perfumes.

The wine tasting

After the visit comes the best part of the Sunset tour in the vineyard: the wine tasting. The 3 representative labels of the Valtenesi area at Lake Garda are offered for tasting:

• Micaela Valtènesi Rosè
• Gioia Benaco Bresciano Bianco
• Leonardo Valtènesi (red).
• Garda DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by the winery.

All paired with breadsticks, a selection of salami and cheeses from Brescia, mustard and focaccia.

This sunset tour is definitely a pleasant alternative to the classic aperitif, for a special evening on Lake Garda!
